Everything new.

To better prepare for my upcoming adventure, I decided to cut off all my hair.
I've never had my hair shorter than my shoulders, and now it is just about chin length.
I feel like I'm letting go of the old and embracing the new. It's a good change.
It is weird to think that I'm leaving the place that i've always known in just over a week.
It's bittersweet, really.
I've had a hard time taking in what I'm doing, and it seems so surreal.
It saddens me to know how far away I will be from my family and friends, but I am so excited to meet my new family out in London. People from all different walks of life will be joining me and I am anxious to see how God uses us and brings us together.
This whole journey is such a huge step of faith for me.
Everything that has already happened up until this point has been such a blessing.
I never would have thought that this is what I would be doing at 19 years old, but all I know is that what I am about to experience in these next few months will be life changing. And that is exactly what i need right now. Something to awaken me and set my spirit on fire.
God is so good. I know that phrase is used a lot, but it's really true.
I'm continually amazed at how faithful he is and how he always provides.
I'm thankful.

On a side note, I'm going to miss this guy.
